Upgraded to some Bearing Buddys today. Smashed the old cap on a rocky bank launch.

Trailer Wheels do take a beating.  You keeping the old ones as backup in case of an emergency?

Yes sir. I figured since the old one still held grease, it wouldn't hurt to keep them just in case.

This oughta work a little better than the old one.

The Enviromental Department has been using my baot for the past few months and wont be done until December. So I have been gathering everything I need to build my floors, front deck and wire it all up. This all came in and now I'm waiting for my spools of wire to run it all before I build the floors.

That's just in time for the cooler months. Good stuff! Good luck!

About time I added a few of these to the trailer for my shallower launches.

Wow...what a difference those made in loading and unloading. I mean, my boat only weighs 520lbs without anyone in it, but still.

Top,
Glad the new rollers made loading and unloading much easier.  I had to replace the back roller on my Stratos Trailer earlier and you're right it's a lot smoother operation.

If it makes the loading and unloading experience easier, it's a great buy!! Thank you for sharing!

Wife got me a spare tire and carrier for the boat for a Christmas present. I now have to drill a hole in the rear roller bracket for the transom saver.

The Spare tire carrier looks great.  I hope you never have to use it  ~shade

Thanks. Now to build a set of steps for the front of the trailer. Loading and unloading by myself and going over the side of the boat, on the ramp, is getting a little tiresome.

I hear ya about loading and unloading by yourself.  That does get old real quick.  I have planks attached to the front of my trailer that I walk out on.  Of course it's a little easier getting in and out of a jon boat than it is a V-bottom boat.  Make sure you take some pictures of your new setup.

Here's the planks I have mounted on my trailer.  I got these from the Bass Pro Shop.

Decided to start wiring up my navigation lights, anchor light and bilge pump. I added a switch panel and a fuse block. I know, the wiring looks like a mess, but I left a lot of extra because when I build my floor, I'm going to re-route it all under the floor. It will do for now.

Thanks as always for the encouragement guys. It's been slow, but can't really go all out yet, especially when it's still being rented out by the Enviromental Department at work. Project should be over by Spring and I can be back on Lake O in no time.

Hey, first off, Welcome to the UB family.

I just got back this morning, so catching up on a few things here. Currently, I haven't done much as the environmental department at my work has had my boat for a little over 1/2 the year for a big project. But, all the money from renting it out to them is going into the build starting next month.

The boat has been great so far and I have a Suzuki DF25A powering it. Yes, a 25hp is plenty for that light boat with 2-3 people and gear.

Two of the biggest upgrades to my trailer has been the 2 rollers and the side bunks.

Looking forward to seeing what you do to yours as well.

Went to the metal supply shop today. Bought 10 sticks of 1.5" angle aluminum in 8 foot length and 1/16" thick. Time to start building my floor.
