SML benefit event for WV flood victims - 13 AUG 2016

Fellow UBers - this event is being put on by the FoM VA West director, Russ Nixon.  Here's an opportunity to do something to help those in need while fishing on an amazing body of water.  Details below.  if you need more PM me.  Thanks in advance for considering!

This team tournament is being done for one reason, to raise funds for those who need it most from the impact of the flooding in West Virginia.

This is an open tournament, no membership into the Fishers of Men is required. All that want to contribute and participate are welcome. Below are the specifics for the tournament.

Location:
Smith Mountain State Park
Huddleston, VA

Date:
August 13, 2016:
Check in: 4:30am to 5:30am
Blast off: 6:00am
Weigh in: 3:00pm, depending on number of boats determines flights and weigh in times.

Fees:
$150.00 entry fee per team.

Registration:
Begins June 15th ends August 13th before blast off.

Bag Limit per team:
3 fish limit: 2-12" and 1-14" minimum.

There will be a $500.00 guaranteed large mouth big bass award and a $500.00 large small mouth big bass award.

This tournament will pay back 1 for 5 teams.

I hope they have a good turn out they can use all the help they can get. My SIL and other members of her church in OHIO are going on a mission trip up there to help out.

Doods, you should see the treasure (raffle prize) Lee Smith built for this event.  A sweet little 7' MH/fast all-purpose rod.  He even decorated it in West-by God-Virginia colors!  Come out and support your neighbors.  Forecast is looking good!
