Title: July Doldrums & Dog Days of August
Post by: basstracker1 on July 16, 2011, 10:56:05 AM
Who said that fishing in July and August is tough!!!!  Check out the Picture. One of best days I ever had was yesterday. Water temperature 85 degrees and a Blue Bird Sky. My partner and I had 3 doubles, 5 would have been keepers.

Back Bay????  I use to love to fish that place when I lived up there in the 70's.  My biggest bass ever was caught there... 9lbs 11oz.  Won an MBAA tournament with a total weight of 31lbs and that was in July.  We had a good day down here also, David and I had over 16lbs for second place in the Fishers of Men tournament out of Edenton on Sat.  1st place had over 18lbs.  Not bad for July. ~cf ~flag ~goof
