Our next event will be on Cross Lake, May 14th. Registration will begin at 4:15am and end at 5:15am, first cast will be at 5:45am. Due to another tournament being held at the same ramp/date, we have been given permission to launch early...so get there early to get a parking space. Please have a Cross Lake sticker on your boat and adequate lighting. As soon as you get to the ramp (I will be checking livewells at the ramp), launch your boat and have your partner park the truck/trailer and then come register...that way we keep a minimum cluster at the ramp/dock.
Since we have a number of our guys that also fish the TnT's, we're going to make Cross Lake off-limits after dark on THURSDAY (May 12th).
I called D.O.T.D. this morning and the engineers said that I-220 will be closed from Jefferson Paige Road to I-20, from 6:00am until 10:00pm. If you are coming westbound on I-220, take the Lakeshore Drive exit. If you are coming from I-20, take the Monkhouse Drive (or Pines Road) exit to Lakeshore Drive. I will also post this information on our website. Please remember that REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 5:15AM, so please plan accordingly.
Cross Lake is officially OFF-LIMITS until tournament day!
First cast is now at 5:45am...there is plenty of light then, I checked this morning. Registration is the same time, 4:15am - 5:15am.
