Post by: fishingfanatic14 on April 16, 2011, 08:56:09 PM
Bailey Britt
101 Pear Tree Lane
Benton, La 71006
Cell: (318)780-3523

Objective:
To be able to give all I can towards a company with a positive attitude and passion for the fastest growing sport, competitive bass fishing. I will market and represent my sponsors to the best of my abilities. I will promote my sponsors and their products at all events, tournaments, seminars, and in any other possible way. My sponsors will be displayed on forums, tournament apparel, boat, and tow vehicle.

Personal Information/Angling Experience:
I was born in Natchitoches, LA and have been fishing since I was three years old and I am currently 15. I am currently fishing on the TBF qualifying tournaments, the North Louisiana 18 and under bass club, and the Fishers of Men legacy series. I currently live in Benton, LA and am on the Benton High School fishing team which is where I currently attend school as a freshman. My long term goal is to go to and graduate from college with a degree in business and marketing. Once I graduate I would like to fish in the B.A.S.S. Open series and qualify for the Elite Series.

Hobbies/Sports:
One of my favorite hobbies besides fishing is duck hunting, my dad and I try to hunt as much as we can each season. I also wrestle and play football on my high school team and love to be outside and active.

Current Sponsors:
Kistler Custom Rods

Any help would be appreciated!

This is a great start! Can you list some experience? I would imagine you are still developing that.

One thing that someone that wants "it" has to do is set yourself appart from the rest of the pack. Everyone can put logo's on jersey's, vehicles, and boats so that's not really different and a sponsor is going to expect that anyway.

Something that helps is, knowing how many impressions you can give a sponsor. Meaning, how many miles will you travel to and from events, how many spectators and competitors will be at these events.

See if you can think of a way to help promote sponsors that no one is doing that will sell products for them. Help get companies in stores and then use that as proof that you can move products for them.

Keep attacking it, once you have it down in print you can read and reread it over and over and continue to improve.  Watch your word placement in the 4 lines below you used "currently" 4 times.
