Here's a few more fish that can be caught using lures. All of these I caught whilst fishing for bass........
Keuri, a very agressive fish eater. Good fun to catch, but they rarely grow bigger than this.

Noochi, a bottom feeding member of the carp family. Popular amongst the fly fishing groups and found mostly in rivers with a good flow and can get a little bigger than this one.

Sogari, a very prized and rare fish in Korea, this is the only species I know of that has a catch ban on during their spawn season. Found mostly in fast flowing rivers especially near rapids, but can also be found in a few lakes and reservoirs.

love the catfish...and was really glad to see you include a better 'tail shot'... Lip: did you know that 'catfish' is one of the largest of fish families in terms of numbers of species and representation all about the world?
and what a cool little 'rockbass/black grouper' looking fish!
Very cool stuff indeed...
but Steve, .... a
flyrod? :-\

Great fish! Love all of them and the different species...makes me wonder, that last one...might it be related to the 'mahseer' in India?
Very cool! ~c~ ~c~ Never would have figured!
Thanks guys.
There are still a few spieces I haven't got photos of, but I'll try and add them next year ~fff

Yeah, I have been known to throw a fly or two. Those big bluegills do feel great on a light fly rod ;D
