Title: Shelbyville info
Post by: illinifish on July 16, 2008, 07:53:58 PM
Current lake conditions as of 7/16
The lake is 14 ft high and slowly rising. The area below Shelbyville is also full of water. Carlyle is over 3 ft high and the Kaskaskia below Carlyle is out of its banks. Shelbyville can't draw down fast with the tailwater conditions.
This tournament will be held before the next meeting so please monitor this topic for updates. We will most likely have to use a high water ramp.
Your tournament committee is aware of this situation and will update as time nears.

As of 7/23 the lake is on a slow draw down. Approx .20 ft a day fall.
We will use the high water ramp at Opossum creek access area.

FYI--The ramp at opossum creek has a corp day-use fee.  It is $3 to launch your boat.
