Title: Walnut Creek
Post by: Futurebassmaster on June 16, 2008, 06:26:55 PM
I keep going to Walnut because it is so close to the house...anyways.  My Dad and I went out on Father's Day for a few hours in the afternoon.  Sun was high and it was hot.  The water temp was very warm in most areas, 79-80.  Caught some fish in the grass, but most in brush.  Bottoms of trees and brush.  Couldn't buy a bite on a crank..tried though.  Also tried slow rolling a spinnerbait, nothing. The ones in grass were caught on a Spro frog and pitching a tube.

Aww I was going to go out there yesterday but stuff got in the way. That lake sure has heated up pretty fast. Is it still really muddy up by the island area?

Yea.. you can see about a foot or so...I call muddy when you can only see 4-6 inches. :)
