i posted this already but changes can still be made. what do you think? doug
Objective: To obtain a sponsorship with select companies in the fishing industry and promote their products both on & off the water. The tournaments I participate in provide limitless opportunities for direct interaction with anglers. This allows me to introduce and actively market products first hand. Additionally, I have hosted demonstrations at shows/conventions/clubs to help promote the products I believe in and utilize.

Exposer Opportunities: As a sponsor you will be included on my sponsor page on my personal website http://dougcavin.com. Sponsors logo's will placed on http://www.myspace.com/dougcavin as well as blog entries about the use of sponsors products. You will be included on all tournament shirts worn. T-shirts and hats from each sponsor will be rotated during practice days. Sponsor logos will be placed on boat and tow vehicle. Products from sponsors will be used during seminars and demonstrations. I can and will attend sponsor events when needed to do so. Sponsor products will be talked about in various fishing related forums on the internet. Sponsors products will be talked about on stage at all tournament weigh-ins. Sponsors will get the maximum amount of coverage possible at all times.

Doug, looks good the only thingI might change/add is in the exposure area. Mention numbers, i.e. how many hits to your website(s) how many posts, etc. It is one thing to say your logo will be on my truck, but if that truck is in the garage all the time except on tourney day(s) vs driven all the time, etc.

I agree with Jeff!!
Potential number of brand impressions via apparel and vehicle exposures makes the resume stronger. Obviously every angler on here that posts a resume offers exposure via apparel and boat and tow vehicle, it's the ones who can deliver numbers, calculated precisely are those who stand out from the rest.

this was posted in Sept and before i wrote the article on "Make an Impression". a lot have used that article to add those numbers but to be honest i have been so busy i havent had time redo my own. doug

Sorry to pick, but watch your spelling. Under the sponsor section, you spelled Jkurz...........should be jkruz. Just something i picked up on, hope it helps. I will be posting my resume very soon, cant wait for the critique, its a giant step for me. CHUCK

JKurz is the company name and they spell it JKruz so i did as well. doug
