Title: graphs, sonars and gps units
Post by: docwaldo on February 06, 2004, 07:05:25 AM
i need some advice.  i have not researched gps units in over three years.  the last time i did any sizeable research, they did not have them with gps capabilities.  my b-day is next week and my fiance said she wanted to get me a new graph. well, i went to bass pro shops on line adn found two that sorta caught my eye.  one is the LOWRANCE X100C DAZZLING COLOR SONAR.  the other is a BOTTOM LINE TOURNAMENT 5100 FISH FINDER.  the main differences other than manufacturer is that the lowrance is color and the bottom line is not.  the lowrance display screen is much, much smaller than the bottom line graph.  does nayone have any info on the bottom line brand??  i am not familar with them at all.  i know lowrance makes a fine product, but is color all that it is cracked up to be??  each has a surface temp gauge and they are the same price.  any info would be apreciated.

i am back in the game.  i got the boat out yesterday and took her and ran her a little.  man--i missed it.  hopefully i can fish with yall soon.  my fiance is extremely cool about me fishing and getting out of her hair for a while.  man--what a lady.

drop it deep and yank it hard.  .  .

Doc....I have no useful information on graphs, sonars, and gps units.  Sorry!  Actually, I don't have useful information on fishing...or ladies.

Good luck in your quest to get back in the game.  Sounds like she wants some "Doc-less" time!!!! ;D
