HI: I,m new to baitcasters. Have four of six brakes. My question is , is this a good overall setup???? I have the purist pflueger reel on the cabellas rod.

When I am showing folks new to baitcasting how to set them up, it's more about the tensioner than the brakes.  Add brakes when the wind kicks up or you are power casting for distance.
