I don't know about the lakes, But I used to live in Easton and loved fishing the Delaware and alttle river just over in Jersey. Those were the days!!
Ah, some of my first fishing memories are on the Delaware in Easton, right by Martins Creek. Even caught my first shad there.
I fish alot of tournys on the del from state line to trenton falls bridge i love that area just have to ignore all the industry

keystone power dam and lake raystown weekdays only hate this place on weekends
Lake Nockamixon Dawn Patrol 1
Lake Wallenpaupack
Raystown Lake for sure! ;D ;D
MAUCH CHUNK,JIM THORPE PA
I would say Rose Valley if you could catch keepers. Hunters Lake, Lake Augusta on the Susquehanna River
Hey everyone this is my first post here and so here it goes. My favorite Pa lake, well I will give you my top 3 picks.
1. Raystown - I love that lake and have only fished it two times, once to prefish and the following weekend fished it during a tournament. (Team Bass USA) Great lake, nice water, nice structure, layout is nice too. Caught alot when prefished but spent too much time in the same area day of tournament, and only boated a largemouth at 15 min to weigh in. This leaves me with a score to settle with the fish here.
2. PPL Montour Preserve - Began fishing this lake 2 years ago and I figured it out pretty quick. Nice lake but does lack some structure, mostly weedy flats and breaklines. There are some decent bass there.
3 Walker Lake in Snyder County - This lake is considered by many as the dead sea, and we almost thought that too up until last spring. But we figured this one out and love it now. My girlfriend caught a 5lb 11 ouncer here last spring and 3-4 ouncer the same day. Good lake to us but frustrating to others.
Jason
i think that Keystone Power Dam in Armstrong County is the best overall fishing lake , other than Erie, in the western end of the state.
i like marburg alot but sometimes i thank long arm near hanover is alot better
Lake Hamilton. It's only 40 acres, but theres a reason its ranked #1 in the state (small lakes) I've caught some absolute monsters out of there, and I've seen a couple fish in there that will break the state record. Its got some big pickerel as well. I've had a love hate relationship on that lake. When you can figure them out its top notch, but I swear the fish in that lake do some wierd stuff.
Favorites are Lake Arthur (nites for stripers) and Shenango.
Pinchot for sure...but going to work at em...but there in there...also...Memorial Lake-Indian Town Gap....nice bass/pickeral/crappie...some pike as well..
Lake Erie

There are stripers in there, right? Have you or do you know of anyone that has caught any?
Springton Lake Res - but don't get caught!! PoPo
Long Arm Reservior in Hanover Pa......or Lake Marburg (both only 3miles from my house either direction)......the kids enjoy Marburg because we stop at the island and walk around a bit...and you can spend more time there (it's alot bigger then Long Arm)....but Long Arm isn't as crowded...even more so during the week....
I just love the pond by my house. Its called "The Pond"

im heading to marburg this weekend looking for some good advice on what to use and where to go
pinchot for sure but heading to marburg this weekend looking for a good place to go and what to use
I can't believe no one mentioned Kinzua yet. I moved to NEPA and I fish Wallenpaupack all the time.....but you can't catch Northerns out here. I miss Kinzua. Headed back with the boat in tow in 2 weeks.
Favorite lake would have to be Erie, but as for smaller lakes pymatuning is number 1 in my book. Also love fishing the allegheny river for some big smallies!
So I made it back to Kinzua. Lots of smallies using Trigger crawdads near the shore where the channel drops off close to the shore. Stripers at night fall on live minnows under a bobber (6ft down) and silver rattle trap. My buddy, as usual, was getting smallies on the chartreuse and white spinner bait. No big guys, but lots of fun.
Meadow Grounds Lake
Fulton co.
the lake is under 300 acres. If you havent fished it you probly never will, becuz they are going to drain it. no more lake and it suxs.. if you have fished it we should get somethin going to save it
Lake Wilhelm is best for numbers and decent size. Nockamixon is best for size.
Kahle lake is nice but they need to fix the ramps since they haven't fixed the leak at the spillway yet. Kayle lake is a nice lake if you don't mind fishing the weeds.
Koon dam in Bedford county. Awesome little impoundment.
Hands down nothing compares to PIB in Erie.
But for hog largemouth it goes to Wilhelm.
It's gotta be Lake Wilhelm!!
It's gotta be Lake Wilhelm!!
after Erie which is in a class by itself, Lake Wilhelm has always been my best big bass lake. Keystone has some monster smallies.
Presque Isle. Part of Lake Erie but fishes like a smaller lake.

Galena is fun. (pulled a monster out of there ages ago. Cobb creek in lower bucks gets some decent one's (although, law enforcement frowns on night fishing there)
what I want to fish is Churchville....no fishing allowed....you just
know what that means.
I think ontelaunee, blue marsh and nockamixon are my favorite. All have somthing cool to offer
Marsh Creek and the Northeast River in Maryland as well as the upper Chesapeake bay.
All these awesome PA lakes and all of them NOT in South East PA ! lol
Anyone know anywhere to go in Southeast PA?
Nockimixon and blue marsh are both great lakes in the Southeast.

Thank you for the reply. Both of those are still a good hour plus from me, I live just outside of Philly. It seems as though that's the closest I'm going to get. I will just have to travel.
I wish I could help more but that is about a five hour drive for me. I have fished out there but only for bigger tourneys.
Marsh and Octoraro are semi close to Philly. Other than that I drive into Jersey. there are lots of smaller lakes there.
