Eufaula, Great allaround fishing lake. Starting to produce some big smallies in the last few years. My brother caught a 5.4 last summer. Excellent crappie lake, doodlesocking is a preferred technique. Good thing is the lake level is prime for that type of fishing after being low last spring.

Not to correct you but, as far as acrerage maybe, but, as far as shoreline GRAND has the longest shoreline in the country. Oh, BTW, I pick Grand as favorite. Much cleaner water. I'm not a big fan of giant mud puddles... lo

Lake Healdton #1 to me I have caught several over 10 lbs on it my biggest 12.5#'s
Lake Murray #2 I own the current regestered lake record 10.9#'s I say regestered because a lot say they have caught bigger mine is just the one The state of Oklahoma recognizes.

I would definately see Eufaula but thats because its home and I know it so well. Other than that, I'd say its a toss up between Murray, Ft. Gibson, or the Arkansas River out of Muskogee. I've only fished those last two once but it was under poor condition and I still caught them pretty well.

~cf  Lake Durant over the years caught quite a few 10+ and 5-7 lbs. all the time. Even though I am only a few miles from Texoma I wouldn't fish the septic tank it is just a giant sewer pit. I ease over to Texas and fish Bonham and Coffee Mill Lakes. ;PEP)

While Grand Lake is big and shore stats are impressive, it nowhere near has the most shoreline in the US. Lake Powell on the Utah Arizona border has the longest shoreline - almost 2000 miles, longer than the entire west coast of the US.

I agree about Broken Bow Lake. I also like Pine Creek near Hugo. All mainly because these lakes are fairly close to home.
