Title: Old Bagley Lures
Post by: FlatsNBay on September 22, 2024, 11:43:55 AM
How can you tell the value of old Bagley Lures? I've read that the ones with brass hardware are worth more. Is there a way to tell if lures have the brass hardware? I searched online and couldn't find any type of guide or how to.

Going through some old boxes and thinking about selling some old lures.

Got a couple of shallow runners that I've had for over 40 years that have brass hardware I think. The hook hangers and eyelet have a greenish brown look.

You'll know it when you see it, the hardware will be colored up some (or even BRASS colored if perfect) and kinda bulky looking. I don't know how well these things sell. I DO know that "in the box" (blister pack) is the game changer with any lure.
