Aaron,

That was one of my favorite lakes to fish while I was station at Ft. Knox.  Haven't been there since the early 80's.  We used to fish out of Wax Landing and once in a while I'd put in at Iberia Recreation Center.

All the times I fished that lake (Numerous Locations + up in the river) I never caught any quality size fish.  The largemouth bass were always 12 inches or less.   The White Bass were fun to catch during the Spring runs though.

Wow, a 6lber on Nolan Lake.  Congrats to your friend on the catch.  Congrats to you on that 1lb Crappie also  ;)   I will say also that Nolan Lake always had a good Crappie population.  I lived in (Radcliff, KY) there was an older gentlemen I knew that crappie fished Nolan year round.  He always did well.  He always fished out of Wax Landing also. He never did / would share his Honey Hole Spots  ~shade

You ever fish Rough River State Park Lake?, Green River or Barren River Lakes?
