Ever had one of those outings where you have a solid game plan going into your outing, but the bass have a different plan of their own? In this Everglades video, I share the steps I take in figuring out the slow bite.

Lou, like you mentioned somedays are just like that slow.  Great job on figure out the bite.  Tks for sharing another Great Fish Catching Video with us  ;)

I've found out that when it's dead calm the bite is usually going to be a slow one.  To make it a productive trip I had to move around and switch out baits on a regular basis like you mentioned. 

Another thing I've learned over time depending on the lake I'm fishing is I'll just pickup the flipping stick.  I'll find some heavy cover along a creek channel or just a bunch of matted stickups.  I'll spend the rest of the trip flipping and pitching soft plastics.  Sometimes the bite is there and sometimes its not.
