Title: Millers Ferry 3/6-8/23
Post by: fishingram24 on March 09, 2023, 04:29:01 PM
Spent 3 days at Millers Ferry with my buddy John and while the weather and water were great the bite was slow. We put 27 keepers in the boat during our trip with several over 3 but never saw the bigger fish we were hoping to find. Water level dropped from 23' to 21' at the Selma gauge during our time there with temps from the low 60's in the back of a few creeks to 68-71 degrees in many parts of the river, visibility was 2' or more in most areas. Air temperature ranged from low 50's to low 80's with partly cloudy skies and light winds. Caught most of the fish on plastics, Missile Baits Baby D bomb or Zoom UV speed worms in 1 to 6' of water and a few on a War Eagle Finesse spinner but never got on any pattern. Still, it was another good trip with my long time friend.
