Fished for about 4 hours and no bites. Felt great to fish again though!! Water felt really cold and air temps hit low 60s today. We've had a week of 28-34° at night so I'm sure the water has cooled off a lot. Heck it was oddly super cold in the summer when I went wading! Leaves have started to change but the reeds still seem to be going strong.
Some days are like that but at least you were out wetting a line ;) Tks for sharing the picture with us. That's a nice looking pond there.
Awesome looking pond. As shallow as it is, the cold hits it hard, but a warm day and warm night will change things in a hurry too :-*
Great looking pond. Studies have shown that reeds (most forms of vegetation actually) hold heat.
On those cold days the bass may bury themselves up in the thick of those reeds. Figuring out how to get them to bite can be a challenge but if you can drop something right in their face they just might go for it???

It's a small pond on Edward's afb near the south gate.
