Folks, our current Bossier Parish Policy Jury are a bunch of_______! You fill in the blank.
Linton Road was closed for a year as of March 20, and there are rumors that it won't be open until August (During a severe drought year ??) All for one bridge that isn't as long as my boat and truck combined. I'll be fair, two trucks and a boat.
They just approved another bridge replacement on Linton Road over the flat river. All this before they build the planned road connecting to Swan Lake so that we don't have to drive north 15 miles just to go back south to get to work and go shopping. ~b~ ~b~ ~b~ at $4 a gallon everyone should be mad enough to say something... Let alone the 45 minutes during rush hour and 30 when it's not.
If we don't complain they will just keep screwing US.... these are not appointed positions, we vote these people in to their jobs..... Let them know, we are not happy. Even if you don't live in this parish, you probably fish the lakes out here, call them and tell them your pissed. They have learned to hang up on me....

Yep it sure smells of corruption... I've got a friend who lives at the bridge and he said they sure don't work much.
Sounds like the next Jury meeting needs to be FULLY filled by residents living around you!! Heck those lake people have $$$$$ they could sue!
With the money floating around this side of the bridge, I'm floored that this hasn't been addressed in court. But honestly I don't think these people do anything but complain, they don't see where, how, and what is actually going on.
