Third times the charm fits this fishing trip.
3rd trip out this June and boy was it a grind. The lake is full of water and spilling with all the rain we've had. Water temps varied from 77-76 deg in the shallower water to 75 in 14+ ft.. I was fishing shallow and in the grass to start with, throwing a big worm and a jig. I moved off shore and finally 3 hours in I caught this little football of a bass. She pulled like nobody's business!

Another two hours passed between bites. Saw many fish on the graph but just couldn't coerce them into biting. Was fishing off a wind blown point when this 17" fish hit the jig hard! He was full of crawfish and of course regurgitated them all over my boat, phone and graph. Guess that was payback for hooking him.

These fish are eating good for sure. Wish I would have measured the girth and weight but that wont be a problem in the future.
