I have1995 Skeeter ss140 with a 115 mariner would like to put light in dash for temp/low oil. the alarm is now in the throttle control panel a buzzer i think. when running this old man cant hear it. can this be done what might be involved ?
Thanks for any input.

Not sure without seeing a schematic, but you should be able to run a light circuit parallel with the buzzer.  Just have to check what voltage the buzzer circuit is, probably 12 volts, then get the appropriate voltage light and socket.

I'm sure that someone with a little more experience with this will come along soon.

Like Pferox suggested, knowing what the voltage of the signal, along with the current rating of the buzzer, will provide you with most of what you need. With that knowledge, you should be able to find a bright red or yellow LED to mount in the dash, that won't overload the circuit. I don't know I'd take the buzzer out of the circuit though.
