Wellp "whatever" we end up getting precipitation wise- snow/sleet/ice- doesn't change that we will have some seriously LOW temps the next 5-6 days. Add in half a foot of snow with ice mixed in and that could be bad. Please make sure your outside animals are good to go and wrap/drip your pipes. And check on your elderly neighbors.
Good Luck to All and let's get past this week!

Can't believe you're getting hit that hard down there. Freezing temps can burst water pipes in homes and campers. Blow out freeze plugs and crack radiators in automobiles and machinery, and play hell with outboard motors, bilge pumps, and livewells. Even simple things like the speedometer and water gauge pressure lines can freeze and crack.
Drain water from everything you can and flush lines with RV/Marine antifreeze.
Pretty ugly around here this week but we need it to kill a few bugs and some unwanted vegetation growing on our waters.
Surprised me when they up'd the accumulation to 8 inches and with upper 20's for highs, it will stick around for the kids to play in.
