Title: Conneaut Lake 6-14
Post by: zippyduck on June 15, 2020, 09:41:32 PM
Got out at first light. Started running white chatterbaits and lost one that bit right at the boat. Then moved to our second spot and we started to land Bowfin so often we lost track of how many we caught. We did manage a few green fish and a pike.
If you decide to brave all the jetskies and parade of pontoons try the lower end of the lake as most of the bass came from that area.

Bowfin fight good :-* Not much you can do about the water fleas though, we've got a couple lakes like that here too.

Thanks for the report zippy and glad you caught something. Sound like that lake would be a little too crowded for me.

This lake is the worst in our area for pleasure boat traffic. It's a shame because it can be a good fishery.
