Title: Shenango 3/7
Post by: zippyduck on March 08, 2020, 06:43:31 PM
Got out with the neighbor to Shenango and lost the only bass anyone on the lake had on.
I did land this catfish. My neighbor caught a shad.

Water temp got up to 40 by the end of the day.
Water one foot or less visibility.

Got both fish on a 6xd.
Shad came on a blade bait.

Water looks dirty. Was it high?

Nice looking fish zippy. You could get some good sized nuggets from that one.  ;D

Water level was over 7 feet low. We got to look at all kinds of underwater cover. Lots of unknown rock piles.
A guy was walking the shoreline with a gps marking it all.
Yes the visibility of a Chartreuse crank was less than 1 foot.

We thought about it but it was on the larger side of good eating ones.

I hear you. I like the ones in the 1 to 3 LB range for eating size.
