Sounds fun Wiz. I haven't had time to fish once since the second week of June. Dale and I are going to fish a small military derby down there on the 24th so practice will begin in a couple of weeks. But first I'm off to Table Rock to fish a derby this weekend.
Good Luck with your derby. September is a hard time to fish on the Rock. The river arms are best. One of my better tactics for this month is using a tube. I fish dock corners letting the tube spiral to the bottom. I count the lure down to the bottom where I dead stick the tube I let it sit for 30-45 seconds, jiggle the rod and retrieve the tube.

Thank you, Sir!
Thank you for the report. Swimming a big worm is a lost art, especially in the top third of a water column. Were you fishing it Texas rigged or on a jig head?
I started Texas rigged but didn't like the way it swam. I rigged it on a 5(0) Darter head with the tail rigged down. The older baits used a much harder plastic formula. The tail moves slower and a Darter head keeps the worm running true.
