interesting read from the game dept, had some friends over the summer that was unaware of a issue like this where they were swimming and lost a pet due to him ingesting water that was affected by the alge.

That's awful. They're fortunate they didn't get sick from it. Ingesting that water or even getting it in an open wound can be bad.

This stuff is happening all over the country. I have even seen reports of the same thing up here in the Chicago land area.
