Title: proteam 165 recessed foot pan
Post by: amosley on June 19, 2019, 12:28:01 PM
I have a 2000 proteam 165. Been digging for info on recessed trolling motor foot pan. The only specs I could find looks like its to tight of a fit with the cross braces. Anyone have done it or know if it can be done?

Btw... welcome to UB.

I looked into a TM footpan a few years ago, and like you mentioned, there are cross braces plus I had a support plate installed under my deck as brace for my deck seat, and that really sealed the deal in my boat ever having a foot pan.

I can't remember where but I saw pics of one being done, the owner did the reinforcing needed so he could do it, a lot of work but he got it done. You might check Tinboats, free membership and tons of how tos with lots of pics.
