The wife and I put together a good bag on Presque isle.

Weather bluebird high of mid 60's low mid 40's
Water temps from 61 - 65 degrees
Winds light out of the West

Most guys fished for bedding bass but missed out on bigger fish staging in 10 FOW.
Lots of smaller fish on jerkbaits and roostertails. Big fish came dragging dropshots on my Dobyns 703sf.

Mike,

I had the shakes and my wife said my breathing was rapid. I don't get that way too often but when you catch four 4 lbers in a row it is exhilarating.

it's a very cool thing (to realize what a special day it IS right then; in the moment)

at some point, did you just sit down and think: know I wanted to be out here 'x' hours, but man, maybe I'll just call it a day and head in?

We made one more pass after the last big one and called it a day. On the last pass I handed my rod to my wife as I reorganized the boat and just took it all in.
