Title: Revo "s" and STX worm gear
Post by: Beagle on March 22, 2019, 09:03:27 AM
I have a couple Revo S and STX fishing reels. They are starting to age a little. I do not use them as much as I use to though. I just pulled them out and Ive noticed that on the "S", the line is ganging up on one end of the spool or the other. Is this usually due to the worm gear itself or most of the time is it just the pawl?

Could be either or. First try taking it apart and cleaning it. If that doesnt work, replace them as a pair.
