Title: Redneck Emergency Repair
Post by: Bud Kennedy on June 04, 2017, 11:02:57 AM
Just ran across an old picture of a redneck repair I had to do to the rear deck seat pedestal a few years ago.  OK so it is something you don't see everyday but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.  She who shall be obeyed almost fell into the lake when the pedestal let go.  Had to do something to keep the trip going.

Refrigerators ?, Doesn't everyone  Very convenient to sit on the sofa on the front porch and you don't have to go in the house to get a beer. Got another refrigerator by the shed that is full of RC Cola and Moon Pies just in case the younguns stop by.

Now that is the difference between you and me Bud. In the case of my wife I would have ended up using the vice grips to clamp her lips shut.  ;) ~shade lo

Wish I'd thought of that yesterday myself! Pedestal is out on the rear seat of my dad's boat. I told him next time I go with him, we can just pull it out and leave it at home. Too low to use and big enough that it gets in the way unless you're actually using it.

Visegrips just like Duct Tape have to be Southern Technology. They may have been stolen by the North, but we came up with it!  ~roflmao

Now vice grips on that kinda makes sense too.
But what I wanna know is, how the heck does someone even figure this one out?(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170604/558bd169a489d3f43b54a9c70bb0c1f4.jpg)
