How many of you run down scan and broadband on split screen? I started doing it this year and it can help you understand what you are seeing on each other, it can be a huge help in your fishing.

Hardly ever ran split screen on my Lowrance. Since upgrading to the Garmin, I've been running various split screen combinations for the very purpose of learning what I'm seeing in the different modes. Do it mostly when I'm scouting. When fishing, I gravitate to the CHIRP DownVu.
On the bow i'll run down/sonar 99% of the time.....like said above, down scan helps you figure out what you are seeing on sonar. Every once in a while i'll have side/down split screen.
I use it most of the time on the trolling motor.

All the time, Rodney. Every little bit helps put the pieces of the puzzle together.
I'm running it 99% of the time unless I'm in grass, sometimes in zoom.
