Title: basscat pantera

Hello,I'm new to this site.Im gonna buy this guy's 19 foot pantera,it has a 150 evinrude on it.Nice stainless 4 blade prop.Any ideas on how fast it should go?No I have not had it on the water yet,so that's why I ask....Thanks.

I would say around sixty I have a 17.5 Cajun with a 150 Johnson with 4 blade does 63 on gps with boat loaded and two souls on board.

I would agree in the 60 range, welcome to UB!  ~c~  ~c~

Has all to do with the pitch of the prop and the load, do you know what pitch yet?

I think 60 is reachable. That's a lot of boat for a 150. There are people with Sabre's and 150's that run mid-high 60's all day if set up right. The 19' Pantera is obviously going to be bigger/heavier on the same motor, so again, if set up right, I think 60 is probably doable.

Hello,Thanks for the nice welcome.The prop is a 22 pitch,I have a place at the 51 mile marker on the Ozarks so gearing up for this spring.
