Title: Aurora 7-18
Post by: cojab on July 18, 2016, 05:37:32 PM
We need more action in the Colorado fishing reports so here goes.....

Fished Aurora today from about 0700-1400. Water temps were reading 72 on my sonar but I'm not sure I really trust those readings. I believe it's a little warmer than that. 5-10 mph winds in the am but calmed down later in the day until we left when a storm passed through.
4 bass hooked with only one brought all the way to the boat. I hooked two on a green with red flake wacky rigged senko. My partner landed a nice one and lost another, both drop shotting. I also missed strikes twice on a soft bodied frog. Oh, and one small perch caught on a squarebill.
We fished mostly the brush on the shoreline and some structure off the bank.

Thanks for the report and looks like the fish didn't want to bite to good today.
