Spent a few hours on Chatty the other day. Caught 5 smallies. Water temps were between 52-59 degrees. Found the fish in about 7' of water. I was using tubes and a buddy of mine was using a soft jerkbait that he bought at King Soopers. (No lie)
Much of the water was very dirty from run off. Had to find clean water to find fish.
We were also finding huge bait balls but did not have any luck around them throwing jerkbaits.
