I just bought a 1995 skeeter 200zx, I'm going through it testing everthing making sure it all works. I'm having a hard time finding any information on the factory on board batter charger. It has a female TM style plug on it, is that were I plug 110v into it? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this charger or pics of the wiring on the backside of the charger? How well do these chargers work or should I just get a 3 bank charger to put in its place?
Thank you!
There should be a male style 110 plug for plugging into an extension cord. My Legend boat has the male plug flush mount to the fiberglass of the boat. I've seen just the cord and flush mounting.
Don't know much about the brand they would have used. If you have three batteries I'd invest in a three bank, just to make sure I'm charging as well as possible and as quickly as possible.
Thank you! I was just planning on putting a 4 bank charger in it, I am just cerious about this factory charger!

Is the connection you're asking about in front or at the back of the boat? Some TM setups have connector often used for 220v at the bow of the boat. Mine has that style.
The connection in the back on the charger...

Okay :-\ , I'm stumped. If it's an AC IN connection and female, that would mean it requires a suicide cord (male connect on both ends). Possible I guess if it was installed by a previous owner. Any chance you could post a pic?
Yes I will get a pic today when I get home...
For some reason it wont let me upload the pic i even resized it... l was mistaken the plug is a 220... but it's still female... sorry...
I cant for the life of me get it to upload... sorry... O well it is only a 24volt charger anyways.. Im just gonna remove it and install a 4 bank charger... Thanks
If you're trying to upload pics as an attachment, there is a 250kb size limit. Many members use a photo sharing site like Photobucket.com. On Photobucket, once you upload the pic, there will be a direct link shown for it. Copy the link, then in your post, click the Insert Image icon above the Smiley's and paste the link. -Jim
