Title: Live Well pumpout
Post by: Ditchdigger on March 01, 2016, 05:06:48 PM
I have a 2003 193cx, on the switch panel I have a aerator switch, a hydoair switch, and a pumpout switch. can someone please tell me what the pumpout switch is for and how to use it. just in front of the switch panel is the lever that drains the livewell. It also has ''auto'' and ''recirc'', could someone also explain the function of these?

Thanks in advance for the info.

I'm going to explain the typical application but they can vary by manufacturer.

The valve lever
Auto - allows your pumps to pull water from the lake
Recirculate - takes water out of the livewell and puts it right back in

You'll set this lever to your desired water intake location

The Hydroair switch should be pumping 02 into your livewell or turning on an oxygenator.

Pump out - Selecting it should pump the water out of the livewell. Most pump it out of the top cap somewhere so that you can catch it in a weigh bag for transporting your fish to the scales.
