Today has been a pretty darned good day. It started when FedEx dropped a package on the front porch. With all the anticipation of a kid on Christmas morning, I opened the box and there they were, the new electronics for my new boat. On the console will be a Lowrance LCX 26C HD, a color locator/GPS unit with an internal 20 GB hard drive! It has all the Fishing HotSpots maps already loaded into memory! How cool is that? ~shade
The other box held the bow locator, an LMS-334C color gps/locator as well! This one doesn't have the hard drive, but I should be able to move data back and forth between using SD cards! :-*
THEN, to make matters even better, I talked to Jerry from Fast Cat Marine. He told me that my boat will leave the Glass Shop and be in the Rigging Shop before the week is over! ~c~
There's probably over 40 hours (or more) of work yet to be done on the boat. It has to have all the wiring run, plumbing installed, steering, outboard, trim tabs, stereo, locators, etc., so there's a lot to be done yet.
However, I've been assured that I'll have the boat in time for a tournament I'm fishing in Kentucky on the 18th of April!!!
Yayyyyyy!!!!!
However, I don't know if my heart can stand it! I want to jump in my truck and start heading south! ~sweat
