Title: First big brown from Erie
Post by: zippyduck on November 01, 2015, 04:47:31 PM
I had a goal this fall to catch a brown while trolling or fishing the creeks. Wife wouold rather troll than wade up and down the creeks. I was going to go to my usual lures but decided to put a new shadow rap on to see what happens and it payed off with a big brown not huge but I'll take it. only down side is that lure hooked up 3 more times and the hooks bent on all 3. Traded out hooks at end of the day, hope that helps next time.

P.S. we landed 2 steelies on other lures.

Very pretty fish.  I always liked the colors in all of the trout family.
