Title: Pueblo report
Post by: cojab on July 21, 2015, 04:10:58 PM
Had a chance to fish for a while at Pueblo on Saturday. Temps were hot. (Close to 100*) with a very light breeze. Got a little cloudy in the afternoon and a quick rain. Sorry I forgot to get water temp.

Didn't get a bunch of action but landed one that was about two pounds on a green with red flake wacky Senko right next to the shore in very shallow water. Lost a couple more on the same rig. Had a few small ones chasing a pearl Fluke but no hook ups.
Tried fishing deep on a crankbait on some cover with no luck. That is something I need to learn more about. Also tried a white Boo Yah frog with no luck.
There was a tournament going on that day also. I'd like to hear from someone that was in the tournament to see how they did and what was working.
