My name is Jim Womack and I am the Founder and President of Chilana Christian Bassmen. We are a brand new Christian-based competitive bass fishing club that is based in the suburbs of Chicago as well as Northwest Indiana. We will be affiliated with the BASS Nation and the Indiana BASS Nation. Our club will be fishing tournament around Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana along with a travel tournament at the end of the season for our two day club classic. We are waiting for approval from both states, but the proposed schedule for our first season in 2015 is as follows:
April 18th – Des Plaines River - Channahon, IL
May 23rd - Braidwood Lake – Braidwood, IL
June 7th – Wolf Lake – Hammond, IN
July 12th - Cal Sag Channel – Alsip, IL
August 9th - Lake Maxinkuckee – Culver, IN
September 13th - Illinois River – Morris, IL
September 27th – Lake George - Hobart, IN
October 17th & 18th - Lake Shelbyville - Shelbyville, IL (Club Classic)
Our club is looking for members and new boaters will be given first priority to join our club.
