I have a switch. It pivots and you can select either a solid white square or an outlined square. My buddy thinks it could be a fuel tank selector but I only have 1 tank. Thought?
Might be your Livewell Drain switch.
Thanks ill go see
it was not for the liveweel
Take a pic of it and post here or send to me and I'll post it :-*

Best idea!!
Hard to tell what it is without actually seeing it. And who knows on an older boat it might not even be hooked up to work anymore.
Been trying. Lets see if this works

All I have is my phone and ive been having issues.
Where is it located?
Does your boat have one divided livewell or two separate livewells?
As Deadeye posted it sure looks like it is for your livewell solid white will keep water in the livewell and the other will let it drain.
Its one livewell with a plastic divided siliconed in place. I put the garden hose in there and started filling it up. Water started pouring out the back. I flilped the switch and nothing happened. The switch is located on the right of the driver seat on the side with all the other switches. It wont flip all the way to both sides just one. Maybe it is for the livewell and something is stopping it from flipping all the way to the side that holds water in? Ill unscrew the switch this weekend and see whats behind it.
I'm thinking livewell also

Yep you good start with filling the livewells to check but I'm sure it's the fill/drain switch. The easiest thing to check is like you have planned to see if the issue is at the switch but I'd bet a cold ~beer~ it's going to be jammed up at or in the valve at the livewell.
Ron, aren't those a cable type switch? If so, especially if the boat has been sitting for awhile, the cable might be froze up or even worse broke and not allowing the valve to close anymore.
Yes I believe so, the part that hit me was he said it was stuck

There are mounts that hold the outer part of the cable in place and one or more could have broken off causing it to bind up. I've also seen the valve get junk in it or rusting up bad keeping it from closing all the way,,,,,, with the age of the boat it could be a few things but it's not normally that hard to replace the cable and or valve if need be Nitro has some open spots in the back once you pull off the plastic walls around the livewells if they are even still there and other then setting in a boat on your head in the holes they aren't to bad to work on lo

That's actually one of the things I liked about the Nitro's you could remove the "liners" and get in and around the back deck.
hey guys. finally able to get back on here. it been raining alot here so i havent had much tome to look at anything. i did unscrew the switch from the side. and the part that you slide back and forth was connected to a piece of etal. i was looking around and noticed that the back behind the seat has screws in it and it looks like the whole thing come off. i will be taking it off and looking around to see if i can find the valve. ill keep you guys posted on the outcome. thanks again for the help.
Cool I think you might have better luck finding it right next to the livewell but the seat idea migh pan out well, never took mine off :-\
