I got my new registration decal for my boat today. My boat is a 2005 Ranger and I just got it last year.

So do you guys just stick each new decal on top of the old one or do you scrape the old one off first..... And if you scrape the old one off, how do you do it without damaging the finish.

I scraped the old one off my boat when I fished out of an aluminum boat and didn't scratch it.

Take the old one off, easier for a thief to peel the new one off whole if it is over another one.

once you get it started and have enough to hold on to you can spray windex on the sticky side and it should come off much easier
