Hello my name is Luis Lagrange, and I would love to welcome everyone to Ultimate Bass. I am known as BassinLou on the forum. I became a member of the Ultimate Bass family on December 17, 2013, Charter Member on July 3, 2104, and just recently joined the forum staff on September 9, 2016.
My story began 42 years ago. I was born and raised in Miami, FL, and I have never left. I have been married to my wife Cindy for 16 wonderful years and we have two great kids, a 10-year-old son, and an 8-year-old daughter. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BS and MS degree in Exercise Science and Wellness and have been working in the Wellness Industry for 24 years.
My life as an angler began around the age of 10. My Dad, who doesn’t know anything about fishing, took me fishing to an urban canal once. Although we did not catch anything, I became hooked on fishing ever since. Living in South Florida has exposed me to all types of fishing. I enjoy both salt and fresh water fishing, but my real passion is bass fishing. In the last 18 years, be it from the bank or on my boat, my bass fishing experience has kicked into high gear. Having both the Florida Everglades and Lake Okeechobee in such close proximity provides me with a diverse fishing playground and helps fine tune my skillset as a bass fisherman.
Again welcome to the Ultimate Bass family. Ultimate Bass is a respected community welcoming everyone as part of the family. As a member of this site, anglers become part of a bass fishing community which genuinely cares about its people. Members learn about bass fishing but also become part of something special. In my short time here on Ultimate Bass, I have had the privilege to meet many members and can proudly call them my friends. Stick around long enough and rapidly see exactly what I’m talking about.
