Washington, Missouri The third season of Bass Edge (www.bassedge.com) in high definition debuts at 8 a.m. EST, Jan. 1, 2009 on Outdoor Channel. Host Aaron Martin and B.A.S.S. Elite Series professional James Niggemeyer tackle spring sight fishing on Indianas Patoka Lake. Catch the entire season of Bass Edge Thursdays at 8 a.m., Fridays at 9 a.m. and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m.
Its amazing to look back at our humble beginnings and see how far all this has come, Martin said. With the new graphics, music and all-around improved production quality, it will be our best season yet. And jewels like Patoka are part of that formula. Fans will see us catching a lot of fish this season.
Niggemeyer makes his second appearance as a Bass Edge co-host. Aaron and I had a great time exploring this scenic and prolific lake we’d never been to before. Patokas environment had a lot to offer and many techniques could be used. We had not planned on sight fishing but we took what the lake had for us and really enjoyed the outing! he said.
The episode also features an in-depth look by Travis Rulle at dock fishing and Mike Webbs advice on fishing small bodies of water. Dr. Jay McNamara discusses the importance of working with fishing partners.
