Pittsgrove, NJ, January 5, 2014. Joe Balog and BASS Elite pro Kevin Short are guests of Pro Angler Mike Iaconelli and co-host Pete Gluszek on Ike Live!, Monday, January 12, 8:00 -10:00 pm ET, live-streaming at www.MikeIaconelli.com. Ike After Hours, a free-form discussion among fish heads who call or tweet Mike and the gang, follows at 10:00 – 11:00 pm ET.
With freezing January temperatures and cold water everywhere, Joe and Kevin are perfect guests for our “January Freeze” show. Joe Balog learned to fish on Lake Erie and is hailed as one of the best smallmouth bass fishermen ever. An authority on catching brownies and big smallies year-round, Balog developed the Goby Replica™ swimbait for Great Lakes fishing, where round gobies are the preferred delicacy of smallmouth bass.
“K-Pink,” as Kevin Short is known, is the most easily recognizable angler in the pro fishing world with his hot pink/camo truck, boat and fishing attire. Kevin has pulled in two Elite Series wins since 2009 and a little cold weather never keeps him off the water.
