another tip for the short strikers is to take a treblehook cut the odd hook off then use it as a trailer hook hooking each hook into the upper part of the frogs legs it spreads them apart and gives the frog a little more action to i use this trick with the zoom hornytoad

You can nominate your tip (and/or others) during the nomination period. Keep watching the tips board for the nominations thread. We have just had a contest in December and we try and have 2 or 3 contests each year.

That is an awesome idea!!! I'm gonna add that to my arsenal of ideas.  Something I started doing last year is using a 4/0 Gamagatsu EWG hook, inserting a toothpick through the frog and the eye of the hook, and cutting the ends of the toothpick off.  This prevents the frog from falling down the hook and makes them last longer than when using the screw-in style hooks.  Hope my idea can help some of you also.
