stay on the marker side of the poles dont dare get on the wrong side or it will be catastrophic!

snoopy

thanks.  i have always heard they are very narrow.  are they wide enough for two boats to safely pass each other?

Some spots are more safe than others. You have to be the judge. ;)

And don't run anywhere on that lake off the rows even if it looks open....there were many old oil wells out there that were on wooden post and many of those post were cut off at the water line when finished...

Some cases it is old rusty metal poles. I put a scratch in our boat in one of them on Hosston. Pretty bad.

Wood is easy it's the re-bar and pipe that will give you a bad day.   lo

Run the boat lane on the marker side, there is room for boats to pass in most all areas. There are a few areas where posts & stumps are very near the boat lanes always be very careful. When getting off the boat lanes trim your big motor up and idle. If you have ever seen Caddo when it is low, there are millions of stumps off the boat lanes. I can tell you there is a stump very near the E7 marker. When rounding E8 make sure you stay in the boat lane coming to E7. Also you will see that the boat lane markers are about the same distance apart in some places you will not see a marker (the post could be broke off at the water line) be careful. All in all Caddo boat lanes are good and make Caddo a good lake to run andfun to fish.

i think i would stay on the side the arrow is pointing to. do not get on the wrong side it would be very very bad.. watch for sucker rods...

The single letter boat lanes are pretty good just stay close to the pole.  When you get to the double letter lanes, you need to be a little more cautious.
Doctor says I should stay away from other people.
