The bait monkey got hold of me real bad this month and I am not sure me has let go yet!
So far this month, Shimano Curado 70, Shimano Essence spinning reel and just placed an order for a Shimano Metainium mgl. Plus 2 1000 yard spools of Seaguar  Tatsu in 10 lb and 15 lb.

But I did get a free Megabass Vision 110 with my Essence order!

Just bought a 2nd Gen Winch for 60 bucks that should arrive tomorrow

Monkey is looking at two more items - Curado DC and Dobyns 705C Glass.

Sorting out my 'finesse' tactics for this season, before I order all my casting jigs etc. Here's what came in last night. Fury 703sf should arrive this evening  now if my Sedona doesn't balance it out the way I like, the Monkey told me to keep an eye on a Fuego LT. If my annual bonus is good, I might step up to the Tatula or Ballistic.

but, the bait monkey hasn't been the bait monkey lately.  I had to find a winter hobby so I started taking up bowling after a long layoff.

Sure as hell, the bait monkey has a damn cousin--the bowling monkey!!!

Picked up the dobyns 705CBMF today and tested it out with SV103H.
Just tied up a 3/8 plug. boom, It can fly as I almost empty the spool.

Cant wait to put some water time very soon !

Thought I could sneak in a reel time but ice is still surrounded at the top.  I think this is gotta be a great crankbait rod. I have never "owned" one before except that Falcon BMC-7 which contains macro guide. It's not for me and gotta put it on sale soon. 

Got a good feeling that this will be a slayer.

This Garmin® echoMAP™ Plus 93sv with Transducer showed up today.  Looks like I may need to do a little fabricating to make a mount for it. But it looks nice. Hopefully maybe get it mounted tomorrow.  Here is where I was discussing it if anyone has opinions or tips etc.

As I fish it too fast, I need something to keep it down the strike zone for chatterbaits.

Just picked up a oldie BPS 4.7.1 (IPT 19')    
What's more - it comes with the BOX and paperwork !

Now, I need to test out a longer handle (Abu Garcia winch (gen2)). If I love the way it feels. I'm gotta ask the monkey bait group for suggestions to make it a "Little Baddie"

Just got home from BP. Went in with the intent of picking up a carbon lite 2.0 or a Shimano SLX. And then I saw the table with the special eddition Pro Qualifier 2.0 for 49.99.  Couldn't decide which speed I wanted so...I bought 2 and now need rods to put them on. I'm sure the wife will be understanding!
