With ice on many waters around here I have been putting my list of needs and wants together. Started to buy today and went with what I can save the most on right now. the next step is to stay on the list and as enough money comes available buy the next item you can save the most on as I have time before the hard water goes away.
We all can save money and end up with a little more tackle.

Prioritizing  :-* definitely will save money over the long run  ~c~

Much easier to save when buying from a list of desires than a list of need right nows!

Well so far I have bought three reels and two rods. MSRP on all these was $1250 and I paid a total including shipping of $960. That leaves enough to buy a bunch of tackle from Nu-tech, Mega chomp, and a few others that have exactly what I want.
The plan is coming together now I just need some open water.

Zip, you gotta pace yourself, Heck it is only December and you have a whole bunch of winter left up there in pensyltucky.  You still have a lot of time to buy more stuff before your water gets soft again.

I'm just buying when I get a deal that I have enough cash flow for. Working two jobs is paying off, but the 7 days a week are getting old. Thank goodness for the Holidays.

I do the same thing. Stocked up on pretty much all the plastics I'll need for the year at the Tackle Warehouse black friday sale. Haven't seen anything in their 25 day sale to tempt me so far.
I'm saving up for a new spinnerbait/crankbait/chatterbait rod. Going to get the Megabass Orochi XX Spinnerbait Special.
