I have no trouble backing my boat through the garage door.
The interior is dark and it is easy to get off line and then trouble.
I have helped this situation by adding a 8 Ft. strip of White Tape to my driveway.
This gives me a direction to move through the door.
I am 75 years old can't see good and not as flexible as I once was.
This has made backing a lot easier.
The best tape for this that I found is "Gorilla" brand tape

Excellent tip ~c~

Is the tape reflective for returning home after dark?

LOL, Terry Fishes from about 7AM to Noon then goes home.  Betsy won't let him  be outside in the dark.

LOL, well in the winter time its much nicer to head out about noon and come home when the sun goes down. I'm sure it would work though, the brake and running lights on the trailer would surely light it up, but being white it probably lights up well enough anyway.

I could say I go either way but in todays world I will say early in summer & late in winter.
No the tape is not reflective but about 1/16 thick and easy to see.
